Daniel's fundraiser for Dementia UK

Daniel Judd is raising money for Dementia UK

Bob Graham Round · 20 June 2026

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My team and I will be attempting two of the world’s most notorious endurance feats, the Bob Graham Round, followed immediately by the world’s most extreme mass-start downhill event, the Megavalanche.

I am taking on this challenge to raise funds for the Dementia UK .

As you may be aware, I am no stranger to extreme challenges in support of local charities. My last major event raised over £3,000 for the Bluebell Foundation here in the South Lakes. I am aiming to beat that target this year, but to do so, I need your help.

The Challenges I am training to complete are:

• The Bob Graham Round (Lake District): I will attempt to run 66 miles over 42 peaks, ascending 27,000ft (almost the height of Everest), all within 24 hours at the end of June.

• The Megavalanche (Alpe d'Huez, France): Following the run, I will travel to France for the longest and craziest downhill mountain bike race in the world in July. It begins on a glacier at 3,300m and descends to the valley floor in a chaotic mass-start race against hundreds of other riders.
