Story

I'm fundraising for the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD) to raise money for the World Food Crisis Appeal.

East Africa is experiencing its longest drought in 40 years. Right now, up to 20 million people, including children, across Kenya, South Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia are fighting for survival in the face of the most devastating food crisis in decades. Although a famine has yet to be officially declared, it is projected to occur in 2023. Chronic water shortages and now rising food and energy prices are pushing families to the brink of survival.

I shall be abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth on Sunday 26 June to raise money for CAFOD and support the World Food Crisis Appeal.
