I have spent the last 18 months on a health and fitness journey, losing a total of 11 stone in weight. During that time I have been upping my exercise and endurance, and have decided to prove to myself I have the capability of achieving something I never thought I could.

I'm running the Bidwells Cambridge 10k in support of Muscular Dystrophy UK because our muscles matter.

Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity for the 110,000 children and adults living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. There's currently no cure, and it many cases, it limits lives. MDUK funds ground-breaking research into into treatments and cures as well as providing life-changing individuals and families living with these conditions.
