Story

In Memory of My Sister – Supporting the Melanoma Fund. My beautiful sister passed away at just 33 years old from malignant melanoma – a cruel and aggressive form of skin cancer. She left behind two incredible young daughters who have had to face life without their mum. Her loss devastated our family, but her bravery in the final months, and the strength her girls have shown since, are the inspiration behind this fundraising effort.
I am raising money for the Melanoma Fund, a charity committed to research, education, and support – all vital to stopping others from having to face this unimaginable loss.
Why This Matters
Every year in the UK, more than 2,300 people die from melanoma. It’s one of the most common cancers in people aged 15 to 34. Yet with the right education, early detection, and research, many of these deaths can be prevented.
Melanoma is not "just skin cancer" – it's the most serious type, and when not caught early, it spreads quickly. But awareness can save lives. That’s why the Melanoma Fund focuses on prevention, sun safety education, and improving access to early diagnosis and treatments.
Help Us Make a Difference
I’m fundraising to honour my sister’s memory – her courage, her love for her children, and her incredible spirit. I want to help ensure no other family has to endure what we have.
Your donation, no matter how small, can help fund:
Life-saving research
Educational campaigns to raise awareness about skin protection
Resources for early detection and support for those affected
If you can give generously to this cause, it would mean the world to me and to so many others facing the same battle. Together, we can make a real difference.
Thank you for your support. 💛
