Story
25 Years, 25 Rounds: The Ultimate Jubilee Golf Challenge ⛳️
2026 marks the 25th Anniversary of Marston Lakes Golf Club. To celebrate this silver jubilee, we aren’t just having a party—we’re hitting the course. Hard.
The Challenge
Former staff members and long-time club members Dan Parsons and Simon Dainter are taking on a marathon feat of endurance: 25 rounds of golf in just 48 hours.
To put that into perspective, over Tuesday 23rd & Wednesday 24th June, we will be tackling:
• 225 holes of golf.
• Approximately 55 miles of walking.
• Zero excuses!
Why We’re Doing It
We are pushing our physical limits to give back to the community that has given us so much. All funds raised will be split 50/50 between two causes close to our hearts:
• Marston Lakes Golf Club: Supporting the continued development of the club, both on and off the course, to ensure it remains a premier destination for golfers for the next 25 years. raising further funds for numerous local charities and local communities.
• Dementia Caring: A vital charity providing fun activities, socialization, and a sense of purpose for those living with dementia in South Staffordshire, Lichfield, and Tamworth. They also provide essential respite and peer support for the incredible carers in our community.
How You Can Help
This is going to be a monumental physical and mental test. We’ve got the golf clubs and the blister plasters—now we just need your support!
Please donate whatever you can afford. Every pound motivates us through those final holes and helps two fantastic organizations continue their work.
Thank you for being part of our Jubilee journey!
