Daniel's 100km fundraiser for Run 4 Cancer

Daniel Pringle is raising money for Run 4 Cancer

Thames Path Ultra Challenge 2025 · 13 September 2025 to 14 September 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

Set up by a group of runners who have all been affected by cancer, Run 4 Cancer provides respite breaks for families living with cancer. We also make grants to cancer care institutions and fund research into the positive effects of exercise and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.

Story

I am running the 100km Thames Path Putney to Henley Challenge this September.

I am raising money for Run 4 Cancer because this horrible disease has impacted and continues to impact lots of inspiring people in my life.

Run 4 Cancer provides days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. This “respite”, gives families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times.

I am not exactly sure how long it will take me to complete the 100km UltraMarathon - having only ever run up to a Marathon (42.195km) previously. I would imagine it will be around the 12 hour mark, give or take a couple of hours.

If anyone would like to join me in any training runs over the next 8 months, I would appreciate the company.
