Friends Of Vellore (FOV - UK) is excited to share that Mr Daniel T Rajan will be running the 2024 Malaga Marathon, Spain to raise funds for the Person-to-Person (PTP) Scheme at Christian Medical College Hospital (CMC) Vellore, in the south of India.

Every penny of your donation goes towards the patients and not in any part to the costs of running FOV - UK. (We would like to remind you that Mr Rajan bears all his expenses towards the Malaga 42.2K; something that he has done for various charities for all the 131 marathons he has done thus far).

CMC matches every donation you make. For instance, a £16 donation can increase to £20 with Gift Aid, and CMC can add up to four times that amount, turning it into a grant of up to £100 for a patient. This funding can cover everything from treating uncomplicated urinary tract infections to more significant procedures like hernias or caesarean sections.

This incredible initiative of the PTP Scheme at Christian Medical College Hospital Vellore helps provide critical medical care to patients who cannot afford their treatment even if it is for some of the common medical ailments. This scheme is open to patients from any faith/creed. You can make a meaningful difference to the vulnerable patients in Vellore, South India.
