I'm going to be doing a day at work in a wheelchair to raise money for the charity Diam Rek.

We aim to get 50 wheelchairs out to Senegal to people who don't have the same opportunities available to us in the UK.

The charity also promotes opportunities for movement, independence and resilience via skill sharing workshops.

Spending a day at the workshop whilst in a wheelchair will be a personal challenge for me to discover how I need to adapt my work routine and find new ways around obstacles, so this will be a great opportunity to learn and grow.
