Story
I’m running the Cambridge Half Marathon as part of the bit.bio team to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK.
This isn’t just a fitness challenge for me, it’s a personal symbol of pushing through both mental and physical limits. As I work towards finishing my PhD this year, I wanted to take on something that reflects that journey: endurance, resilience, and a belief that progress comes from not giving up.
I’m fundraising for the scientists and researchers who are doing exactly that, pushing forward every day to develop new treatments and bring us closer to a cure for dementia.
Every 3 minutes, dementia steals a happily ever after.
Research is our best chance to change the ending for people affected by this devastating condition.
Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity. They exist for one reason: a cure.
Your donation will help fund vital research to improve diagnosis, develop new treatments, and ultimately find a cure for dementia.
