Story
The Breath of Hope Tour, a 1,000-mile road trip to raise awareness and funds for cystic fibrosis.
This journey is deeply personal to me. My daughter lives with cystic fibrosis, and as a parent, I see first-hand the daily challenges she faces. This tour is a way for me to turn that personal experience into something positive, to raise awareness, and to help fund the vital work that supports families like mine.
To capture attention and inspire engagement, I will be travelling in a classic Reliant Robin, visiting as many windmills as I can across the country. It is a unique tour designed to spark conversations and bring more visibility to this important cause.
Why This Matters
Cystic fibrosis is a life-limiting condition that affects thousands of individuals and families. Through this tour, I aim to:
Raise vital funds for research and support
increase public awareness of the condition
Give a voice to families impacted by cystic fibrosis
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and consider supporting this cause. It would truly mean a great deal to me and my family.
Some info about CF and the CF trust:
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition which causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. It affects more than 11,000 people in the UK. One in 25 of us carries the faulty gene that causes it, usually without knowing.
Cystic fibrosis comes with challenges, affecting our physical health, mental wellbeing and how we choose to live our lives. But our community is uniting towards the ultimate goal of effective treatment for all.
Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the charity uniting people to stop cystic fibrosis.
