Trek for CALM 2026 · 19 September 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

We’ll walk for those we’ve lost. We’ll walk to celebrate those who've survived. And we’ll walk to smash the stigma around suicide and get people talking. This isn’t a walk in the park - it’s a life-changing (and life-saving) trek.

Story

As many of you coming to this page will know, I lost my Dad to suicide in 2016. Since then, championing mental health, particularly amongst men, has been very important to me.

The impact of suicide reaches far beyond the individual. It affects families, friends and entire communities. My family knows first-hand the pain and heartbreak it can cause, which is why supporting organisations working to prevent suicide and provide help to those in crisis means so much to me.

I am taking part in the Trek for Tomorrow challenge to raise money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), a fantastic charity that works tirelessly to stand against suicide. Through their helpline, webchat services, campaigns and support for those struggling, they provide a lifeline for people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn.

To take part in the trek, I need to raise £500, and every donation, no matter how small, will help CALM continue their vital work. If you're able to contribute, I would be incredibly grateful. If you can't donate, sharing this page would also mean a great deal.

Thank you for your support.
