Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We are raising money for Madlug, which is a luggage brand with a difference. When founder Dave Linton learned that most children in care have their belongings moved in a bin bag, Dave set out to do something about it. With just £480, he started a social enterprise where for every bag purchased, a pack-away travel bag goes to a child in care.
Every year, Care Day celebrates children and young people with care experiences, and to mark this year's event, Danielle Armstrong invited Dave Linton to talk about his motivation for establishing this important social enterprise. Danielle has now organised a coffee morning, in collaboration with the SU, in the hope of raising money to buy packs for young people in care. Each pack costs £10 and we hope to raise enough money to buy at least 10 packs. The work they do is amazing and we want to support them as much as possible.
