Story
Mum was in the care of Kirkwood hospice when she passed away after a short battle with cancer. Whilst there the care was second to none and everyone went above and beyond for mum and the family. The staff are real life angels and we can’t thank them enough for the care and compassion they showed during such a tough time.
As a thankyou and to try raise as much money as we can, my cousin Jack and a close family friend Russy Holdgate are cycling from Liverpool Albert dock to Kirkwood hospice setting off on Friday the 20th getting to Kirkwood hospice on the Saturday the 21st.
Your £10 donation could fund a virtual wellbeing session for a patient living with heart failure.
A donation of £50 could pay for specialist counselling support for a patient and their family.
£100 could provide vital support to a patient in their own home from one of The Kirkwood Nurses.
The Kirkwood are here to support anyone affected by a life limiting illness, every step of the way. Right now, over 3,000 people in Kirklees are living with an illness from which they will not recover. Your support means we’re here for them.
