As a Mental Health Nurse working within Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust for 7 years qualified and 3 years training, I have seen what this charity can do to enhance patient care and provide funds for projects on the wards.

I currently work as an Urgent Care Practitioner in a psychiatric decision unit, I have previously worked in Children’s inpatient, supported police custody and worked in prison services. I see daily the impact mental health has on people’s lives and it doesn’t discriminate. I want to raise as much as I can to help our patients journeys.

I am running Brighton Half Marathon which is a place I have secured myself, and I have decided to fundraise alongside it for Heads On.
