Our family have recently experienced a devastating loss, my kind hearted, lovely Grandad Phil passed away peacefully on 22nd January 2024.

Grandad Phil was so strong, he never complained throughout treatment, constant appointments and he fought so hard, he really was the kindest soul and the best Grandad I could ever wish for. We are all absolutely heartbroken.

I will be running the Hastings Half Marathon 2024 in loving memory of my Grandad and fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as only 1% of national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

I am in no way a runner and this is going to be one of my toughest challenges yet, but seeing how hard Grandad fought has made me more determined to raise money for Brain Tumour Research in memory of him.

I will forever be grateful for any donation / support towards this worthy cause ❤️❤️
