I’m taking to the skies — literally — to raise money for an incredible charity that supported us when we needed it most: The Sick Children’s Trust.

When our daughter suffered complications following an hypoxic brain injury during her birth, she was transferred to a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) over an hour from home.

The Sick Children’s Trust became our lifeline. They gave us a “Home from Home” — accommodation with the same hospital — so we could be with our little girl as much as possible. Being able to see her with no time or travel restrictions meant everything, and lifted a huge emotional and financial burden during one of the hardest times of our lives.

It’s only when you're thrown into these unimaginable situations that you realise services like this even exist and how essential they are! I’m now skydiving to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and to help ensure other families going through similar situations are just as supported.

Since 1982, The Sick Children’s Trust has helped keep over 73,000 families together when it mattered most. With your help, we want to make sure they can continue to be there for many more.
