My mama and I are swimming the virtual English Channel (all 22 miles of it... ) in aid of Heart Research UK.

As many of you know 2026 has been a pretty terrible year accumulating in mind bogglingly awful diagnoses for both my mama and papa.

On the 24th July, papa will be going for valve replacement surgery so we have decided to head to the pool, after all, as Dory says "all you have to do is just keep swimming."

Ironically it is also the 100th year anniversary of Trudy Erdele, the first woman to swim the channel (1926)
