In loving memory of Rykr-Reign & Ayla-Moon 💙🩷🤍

We are raising money for Aching Arms in honour of our beautiful twins, Rykr-Reign and Ayla-Moon.

Aching Arms is a charity that provides comfort bears to hospitals and hospices, allowing midwives and nurses to offer them to bereaved parents during the most heartbreaking moments of their lives. They also provide vital support and resources to families after the loss of a baby, whether during pregnancy, at birth, or soon after.

In March, our lives changed forever. After seven years of hoping, praying, and waiting to become parents, we were blessed with not one miracle, but two. Finding out we were expecting twins was the happiest moment of our lives. We planned, dreamed, chose names, and imagined our future with our beautiful babies.

Sadly, our happiness was far too short-lived.

On 3rd March, our beautiful son, Rykr-Reign, was born sleeping. Four days later, on 7th March, our beautiful daughter, Ayla-Moon, was born. She spent 2 hours and 15 precious minutes with us before she too passed away.

No amount of time could ever have been enough, but those moments will stay with us forever.

Since losing them, we have faced a pain no parent should ever have to know. We have had to say goodbye to the babies we longed for, loved deeply, and will miss for the rest of our lives. Our arms are empty, but our hearts will always be full of love for them.

Rykr-Reign and Ayla-Moon made us Mummy and Daddy. They changed our lives forever, and their names and story will always be spoken.

In honour of our beautiful babies, Yvonne is running the Robin Hood Half Marathon to raise money for Aching Arms and to help support other families who experience the heartbreak of baby loss.

We are so grateful to Yvonne for doing this for us, for Rykr-Reign and Ayla-Moon, and for such an important charity. It means more than words can say.

We are raising money for Aching Arms because charities like this bring comfort during the darkest moments. The support they offer to bereaved families is so important, and we want to help make sure other parents facing baby loss feel less alone.

Any donation, no matter how small, will mean so much and will help Aching Arms continue their incredible work.
