Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

This August, Noah, Meadow and Maisie are taking on a challenge to raise money for Brain Tumour Research by completing 100 miles over the course of the month.

Together, they'll cover the distance by walking, running, swimming and cycling, splitting the total across the 31 days of August.

In February this year, they lost their beloved Grandad to glioblastoma, an aggressive and devastating type of brain tumour. He was a huge part of their lives, and every weekend was spent making memories together at the caravan. It was their happy place. Full of adventures, laughter, bike rides, walks and precious family time.

This summer will be the first without him, and we know every visit, every path and every familiar place will bring memories of the last time we shared them together.

Rather than letting grief define our summer, we want to honour Grandad's memory in a way that would make him proud. Throughout August, Noah, Meadow and Maisie will complete their miles in many of the places they loved exploring with him – walking, running, swimming and cycling through the places that hold so many special memories.

This challenge is about so much more than reaching 100 miles. It's about remembering a wonderful Grandad, celebrating the love he gave us, and helping to fund the research that could one day spare other families from experiencing the heartbreak of losing someone they love to a brain tumour.

Every step, every pedal, every stroke and every mile is for Grandad.

If you're able to support Noah, Meadow and Maisie, no matter how big or small the donation, it would mean the world to our family. Every contribution helps fund life-saving research and brings hope for better treatments in the future.

Thank you for following their journey, cheering them on, and helping them turn love, memories and loss into something that can make a difference. ❤️
