This year we are lighting our house up pink with Christmas lights and as a family we are walking 10,000 steps a day for a month.

As a lot of you know, 3 years ago I was diagnosed with invasive triple negative breast cancer.It was the worst time of mine and my families lives, having to tell my children was horrendous. It was a high grade rare breast cancer that spreads incredibly quick and has a high reoccurrence rate.Luckily mine hadn’t spread to organs but due to the type of cancer I needed surgery, 6 months of chemo and radiotherapy.

I was incredibly ill when going through chemo, every cycle getting worse and I honestly didn’t know if I could continue with the treatment, but I did it with the help and support of my amazing family and nurses who were there all the time when I was in tears saying I couldn’t continue. I lost all my hair,I gained a lot of weight from the steroids and my poor body felt like it was giving up, it is a horrendous treatment to go through but hopefully it will stop the cancer reoccurring.

We want to do fundraising for breast cancer now as they are a research and support charity, their website has so much information on it and the more we raise awareness and fundraise then hopefully we can stop this horrendous disease from ruining more lives,

their goal is to

-Stop people dying from breast cancer

-Support people to live well with breast cancer

-Accelerate detection of breast cancer

-Improve prevention of breast cancer

Helping raise money can help with research into more tolerable chemo/treatment drugs and support families going through this horrible disease,
