This year, Lily is taking on the Mini Great North Run to raise money for Tiny Lives, a charity that is incredibly close to our hearts.

Lily was born 16 weeks early at just 24 weeks gestation, weighing only 590 grams. Her start in life was far from easy, and she spent many months receiving specialist care and support. During some of the most challenging days our family has ever faced, Tiny Lives was there to help families like ours through their neonatal journey.

The support provided by Tiny Lives makes a huge difference to premature and sick babies and their families, offering practical help, emotional support, and funding vital equipment for neonatal units.

Today, Lily is a happy, determined little girl, and she is incredibly proud to be running the Mini Great North Run for the third time to give something back to the charity that helped support her and our family. Every step she takes is a celebration of how far she has come and a way of helping other babies and families facing similar challenges.
