We are a small national charity supporting families affected by RTS, a rare chromosome disorder, the main features of which are a learning disability and a high incidence of various physical and behavioural problems. We are entirely dependent on donations and all funds directly benefit families.

Story

As most of you know our special girl Sofea was born with an extremely rare genetic syndrome called Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome.

Sofea is 8 years old and is a very happy little girl, despite her struggles. Everyday has its challenges but we couldn’t imagine our lives without her. Sofea has very significant learning difficulties, including being non verbal but we are determined to give her every opportunity in life and include her in everything we do. The future for Sofea is completely unknown and in order to give her and other children with RTS the best possible outcome in life, we are raising money for the RTS Support Charity.

The charity helps bring families together to share their experiences and help them to feel like they are not alone on this terrifying journey. The charity has been a life saver for so many of us parents, we have met the most incredible families and built friendships that will last forever.

We are so grateful for your support 🫶
