Story

Hi everyone, my names Daniel and I'm a serving soldier in the armed forces.

I am doing this challenge to raise money for The Sick Children's Trust. This charity is something I believe is making a massive difference to families with sick children in hospital, giving them vital support in some of the most hurtful family situations imaginable. I am doing this in December to replicate that even though it’s Christmas, families all over the country are still going through hardship. Which will be me towards the end of this challenge!

The challenge itself:

I will be running a different distance everyday throughout the whole of December, with the amount of kilometres dictated by the day of the month.

Starting with 1 kilometre on the 1st of December, then 2 kilometre's on the 2nd, 3 kilometre's on the 3rd, so on and so on. Finishing on new years eve with a 31 kilometre run and a few beers!

Ill be giving daily updates with the challenge on my Instagram stories.

I understand with the cost of living crisis and it being Christmas time, everyones money will be tight. However even the smallest amount will make a huge difference!
