Why I’m Raising Money,

In 2018, I hit rock bottom. Homeless, jobless, and without access to my children, I felt like I had no way out. One night, standing on the wrong side of a railway bridge, I was ready to end it all.

By pure chance, a member of Round Table stopped to talk. That conversation, along with support from CALM, helped me take the first steps back towards life. With time, I got back on my feet, found shelter, work, and—most importantly—hope.

Round Table became my second family, supporting me through some of my darkest moments and lifting me back into the light. Today, I’m proud to be thriving: engaged to my soulmate, raising a family, and giving back through Round Table and CALM.

I’m walking because I know first-hand that CALM’s support saves lives, and because Round Table taught me that you’re never truly alone. Together we can make sure fewer people feel that the only way out is suicide.
