Story
Ladybug Lodge Forest School is a special, inclusive space where children of all abilities can explore, learn, connect and simply be themselves in nature. Alfred is a regular visitor, the joy the space brings him is unmatched.
Sadly, this wonderful space has recently been vandalised, causing damage to resources and areas that have been carefully created to support children with additional needs.
For many of the children who access Ladybug Lodge, traditional environments can be overwhelming. Forest school offers something different — a calm, sensory-rich and welcoming space where children can learn at their own pace, develop confidence, build friendships and experience the joy of being outdoors.
The impact of this vandalism goes far beyond damaged equipment. It threatens a space that provides inclusion, opportunity and belonging for children who may otherwise struggle to access activities in the same way as their peers.
I am raising funds to help Ladybug Lodge repair the damage, replace essential resources and restore the forest school so that children can continue to benefit from this incredible environment.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. Whether it helps replace a piece of equipment, repair part of the site or restore areas to make them safe again, your support will help bring Ladybug Lodge back to life.
