I am excited to share that my teammate and I will be participating in the Mansfield Woodhouse Wheelbarrow Race on 30 August 2026. This annual event is a personal fun challenge that involves teams from nine local pubs competing in a fun and lively race featuring wheelbarrows, fancy dress, alcohol and community spirit. We are proud to represent the Barrel micro pub and raise funds for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Charity.

The Air Ambulance provides critical emergency medical services across our region, saving lives every day. Supporting this charity is essential because their rapid response can make all the difference in urgent situations. By taking part in this race, we hope to contribute to their vital work and help ensure they have the resources needed to continue their life-saving missions.
