Story
We are excited to announce our participation in the 2026 Rhino Charge as the Danish Kifarus team, driving Car 54, a 1969 Toyota FJ Cruiser. With a legacy of excellence, our team has consistently demonstrated determination and success in this prestigious event. With a proud history spanning 23 charges over the last 26 years, our team has consistently showcased resilience and an unwavering commitment to conservation. We have won the unmodified class in 2005, 2010, and 2018; we were second in 2021.
The Rhino Charge is an exhilarating annual 4x4 off-road challenge, taking place on 30 May 2026 in Kenya. Known for its rugged and unpredictable terrain, the event pushes participants to their limits, demanding both strategic planning and physical endurance. However, it’s much more than just a race. The event raises essential funds for the Rhino Ark Kenya Charitable Trust, a non-profit dedicated to the conservation of Kenya’s mountain ecosystems, also known as the “Water Towers.” These ecosystems are critical to the well-being of local communities and the country's economy.
We are: Eric Goss, Henrik Rasmussen, Ben Leed, Ewan Brennan, Jørgen Nielsen, Ole Johansen
