The Dan Lee Mil Race was established 2023 in memory of former Royal Marine and Firefighter Dan Lee.

Dan passed away in August 2022 after a tragic accident. He served 8 years as a Royal Marine and 16 years with Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue service as a Firefighter and Watch Manager.

Dan Lee was passionate about his work, his people and community. The race is non profit and has been set up to bring people together, work as a team and generate funds for The Royal Marine Charity.

This fundraising page has been set up for those who wish to donate to the charity or sponsor friends and family members who are taking part in the event.

This year celebrates the 360th Birthday of the Royal Marines and we would like to contribute to the 360 for 360 campaign challenge, commemorating and celebrating the Royal Marines and raising essential funds for RMA- The Royal Marine Charity.

RMA - The Royal Marines Charity is the corps own charity and works to offer lifelong support not only to the RM serving personnel but also to the RM Veteran Community and the wider families of both.
