On the 14th of September 2024, I'm going to be running 100km (that's two and a half marathons) from Fulham in London along the Thames Path to Henley.

At the time of writing this, having just signed up for the challenge, I have never run more than 10km. I've never needed too. So no, I have never run a half marathon, a full marathon, or two marathons in one go.

So I thought it would be a good idea for my first event to start with 2 and a half marathons in under 12 hours...This could be a real mistake on my part.

But, thats the point. I needed to do something that would scare me. Something that would case great pain and suffering, something worth while. I have less than 6 months to get into the shape of my life and it's going to take every single day between now and then to do so.

Why? Well, because I believe that I can do something that will help raise the vital funds needed to keep the prospect hospice delivering the incredible rest bite care and end of life services to those who need it, completely free.

The government only funds 25% of the Prospects yearly expenses, meaning they need to fund-raise around 6 million pounds per year to keep doing what they are doing.

They rely on people like me doing silly things like this in order to keep providing the incredible service they do. They help my family through their toughest time, just like they have helped so many. If you care spare anything at all, then please do donate. Thank you.
