On Saturday 16th September, we will be taking on the Great Hospital Hike to fundraise for King's College Hospital Charity. Before you all think this will be a walk in the park it is 18miles and we are going on holiday the next day, ouch!

As most of you know Kings College saved my life 14 years ago, apparently if i hadn't gone in that day i wouldn't be writing this!

However this time we will be walking with my old Managing Director and life long family friend Jim Davin. Jim (and he will really hate this LOL) has always been on the end of a phone for me and has probably forgotten half the stuff he has helped me and my family out with over the years.

His son Lewis was my apprentice many years back and just like his Dad is a decent, strong willed, salt of the Earth type just a tad (lot) more ginger :-) . Unfortunately sometime last year Lewis was diagnosed cancer, there is no need for details, but he has been and still is really going through it.
