Story

Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of my dad and I'd be so grateful for your support.

Since 2014, I’ve raised over £4000 for the British Heart Foundation in memory of my dad, who died of a heart attack in 2008. I’ve trekked London to Brighton 3x, London to Southend & London to Oxford. They were all 100km treks within 30 hours. In 2022 I wanted to something bigger & tougher. So with Global Adventure Challenges, I trekked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru. That was a tough, but incredible experience. I’d been thinking for a while, what should my next challenge be. So at the end of 2025, I decided to sign up for my biggest challenge yet. I signed up again with GAC, to trek up Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in October 2027. I wanted to give myself time to get as much training in as I can & to raise as much as I can.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
