Story
My Dad Pete spent his last weeks in the Hospice and they made him, the family and freinds all so comfortable .The care and compassion they show is something that I will always be grateful for especially the way they looked after my late mum Pat.
To think the Hospice would not even exist unless people donated money to fund it has made me want to run my 1st full marathon to help it to continue. The pain and suffering I will have to go through with the winter training to get fit enough to get it done is nothing compared to what my Dad Pete endured and i will use that as my motivation to complete the marathon.
About the hospice
Severn Hospice provides specialist care and emotional support for families in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid Wales living with an incurable illness. All care is provided free of charge but comes at a cost; they must raise £2 for every £3 spent. Please help our runners raise as much as possible as we take on our 26.2-mile challenge on April 26th, 2026.
