Story

Hi, I’m Dan Simms. You might know me from previous charity challenges - like walking from Wales to Holland or running across the width of Wales.

This time, I’m taking on potentially my toughest challenge yet: running 145 miles from Wembley Stadium in London to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff… in just 5 days. That’s five ultra-marathons back to back…distances that genuinely scare me. And to me, that’s what a real challenge should do.

I’m doing this to raise £1000 and awareness for the Veterans’ Foundation, an incredible charity supporting the armed forces community across the UK.

The Veterans’ Foundation was founded in 2016 to provide lifelong support to those who’ve served our country. So far, they’ve raised over £25 million, funding more than 1,150 projects through 540 small to medium charities—supporting veterans and their families facing challenges such as physical injury, disability, mental health issues, addiction, homelessness, bereavement, unemployment, and more.

This is my way of giving something back to those brave individuals. Any support whether it’s a donation or helping to spread the word will make a difference.
