Late last year, I lost one of my closest friends to suicide. We lost Harry on the 24th of October, and he has left a huge hole in all of our hearts.

In his memory, I’m taking on the Parish Walk again this year. I’ve chosen Isle Stand Up to Suicide, a charity close to Harry’s family and one that does vital, life-saving work. I’ve also completed their suicide prevention training, which showed me just how important it is to have the difficult conversations.
