Dear Reader - thanks for visiting this page.

East Midlands born and bred, I occasionally frequented the Children's Ward at Burton-on-Trent when growing up, and will be forever grateful for the kindness, dedication, and professionalism of the staff who treated me, patched me up, and sent me on my way for more youthful hijinks.

If my own experiences were not enough, a close family friend of a colleague of mine received life-saving treatment for critical illness at the paediatric unit and made a full recovery - all thanks to Burton Children's Ward.

As a small token of gratitude, I WILL BE HAVING MY HEAD SHAVED SKIN BALD on Sunday 30th March 2025 as part of the 'Help The Hospital' charitable wrestling event raising money for Burton Children's Ward.

The hair cut off will be donated to make wigs for oncology patients and those affected by alopecia. My blonde locks are currently around fifteen inches long, and I last wore my hair short nine years ago - so the shaving is likely to come as something of a shock!

To support the overall fundraising effort of the event, I am collecting sponsorship from all those able to donate. The NHS is the jewel in the crown of Great Britain, and is currently experiencing much hardship - making your generosity all the more essential in keeping this vital resource functioning for the people who need it most.
