This is the first time I am asking people to open their pockets and donate. It is something that is not very common in German-speaking countries, but there are so many good reasons.

The decision to support "Breast Cancer Now" was a no brainer.

Because everyone knows someone who knows someone who knows someone...

I myself have many Breast Cancer Survivors in my own family and close circle of friends - fortunately survivors, but there are shockingly many. Obviously you don't realize what it means to fight cancer until you experience it. Because it doesn't just affect you, but friends, family and colleagues. Luckily research is making more and more progress, but so much education is still needed.

Breast Cancer Now is a brilliant organization, dedicated to giving support for today and hope for the future, for everyone affected by breast cancer. They are a great place to turn for information and support on everything to do with breast cancer and strongly depending on donations.

So please make sure that my friends and I don't throw ourselves into funny costumes and run 10 kilometers through London for nothing :-)
