This year we are raising money on behalf of The British Liver Trust and Children’s Liver Disease who have recently merged.

Not only is this charity the only UK charity for children, young people and adults affected by liver conditions it is also one extremely close to our families hearts.

Wesley was diagnosed with a rare liver disease at the age of 5 weeks old. Our family is based in Scotland and we had to travel to Birmingham in order for him to receive life saving surgery. Sadly the surgery was not entirely successful and after 3 years his little liver has reached its capacity. Wesley was listed for a liver transplant in December 2024.

With every penny donated you are supporting a charity who offers so much support and knowledge to parents, children and health care professionals.

This year for their annual Big Yellow Friday event our family will be spreading the word and bringing awareness to our community.

Hundreds of children and young people are diagnosed each year with non alcohol related liver diseases, many without any known cause or cure. Without charities like the one we are supporting we would not have the knowledge or a safe space to go through this hard journey.
