Two cities, two races, one shared goal: helping children access life-saving heart treatment.

We’re Darius and Zein, and this autumn we’re running for Chain of Hope! Zein will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London on 11 October, and Darius will be taking on the New York City Marathon on 1 November.

It is estimated that as many as 15 million children die or remain severely ill every year through potentially treatable or preventable cardiac diseases. Chain of Hope helps children with life-threatening heart conditions in developing countries receive the life-saving treatment they need.

Knowing what we’re running for will keep us going through the early starts, long training runs and those difficult final miles. But your support is what will help us make a difference beyond the finish line.
