Supporting Evelina London Children’s Charity

I am fundraising for Evelina London Children’s Charity, a cause that is very close to our hearts.

Our son, Mateusz, has been under the care of Evelina throughout his kidney journey, from living with Chronic Kidney Disease, through dialysis, and ultimately to a kidney transplant. I was fortunate to be able to donate one of my kidneys to him.

Throughout this challenging journey, the teams at Evelina have provided outstanding care, combining exceptional medical expertise with genuine compassion, empathy, and support for our entire family. The doctors, nurses, specialists, equipment, and resources have been nothing short of remarkable.

Evelina has become more than a hospital to us – it has become part of our family. The care we received helped make an incredibly difficult time more manageable, and we are forever grateful.

To help ensure that other children and families continue to receive the same life-changing care and support, I am raising funds for Evelina London Children’s Charity.

On Saturday 27th June, I will be taking part in an annual sponsored cycle ride from Evelina London Children’s Hospital to Southampton Children’s Hospital, covering just over 100 miles.

Any donation, no matter how small, will help support the incredible work Evelina does for children and families facing some of life’s toughest challenges.
