Help Me Support SAMH – One Epic Day, One Important Cause -
100 Mile Coast to Coast for SAMH 13th September 2025
Seventeen years ago, I lost my dad to suicide. Since then, I’ve seen how deeply mental health struggles affect not just individuals, but families and communities. This September, I’m taking on the Rat Race Coast to Coast—a gruelling one-day challenge across Scotland, covering over 100 miles by bike, foot, and kayak—in memory of my dad, and in support of friends and family who are still fighting their own battles.
I’ve been training harder than ever, pushing myself physically and mentally, hoping to cross the finish line in around 12 hours, weather permitting. But this isn’t just about endurance—it’s about raising awareness and funds for SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health), a charity doing vital work to support those affected by mental health issues.
If you’ve ever struggled, or know someone who has, please consider donating. Your support helps SAMH continue to provide life-saving services and lets people know: it gets better.
Thank you for standing with me. Every step I take is for those who need hope, help, and healing.
