Story
I’m at it again and this year’s challenge is taking me back to the breathtaking and challenging Scottish highlands.
This time over to the Isle of Skye and a challenge and what’s apparently cited as one of the most difficult hikes and routes there is in this country.
This unparalleled scramble circuit offers a strenuous traverse over the Trotternish Ridge, one of Scotland's most dramatic geological features on the Isle of Skye.
Over 3 days covering some of the most iconic landscape this part of the world has to offer. The paths remain elevated throughout this route , connecting the iconic pinnacles of the Quiraing and The old man of Storr.
They say the challenging route demands extreme endurance, featuring significant ascents and terrain for experienced hikers which I definitely am not.
This routes renowned for its lack of established trails in many areas, testing both wayfinding skills and resilience as you navigate rough, boggy, and rocky terrain
I’ve discovered I’m definitely up for a challenge………
So I best start getting my training in!
Along the way though we will be treated to breathtaking views of the eastern coastline and the distant Highlands.
Given the distance, exposure to strong winds, and navigational challenges we will be once again guided by the phenomenal team at Endurotrek.
