Great Oaks Hospice was established over twenty years ago, for the care of persons living with life-limiting illness in the Forest of Dean and surrounding area, and for the support of their carers, families and friends, whether before or after the death of such persons.
Our mission is to provide the best care and support for everyone when they need it most and we can only do that with the support of our amazing community of fundraisers and volunteers.
6 friends, Darren Creed, Kevin Lanfear, Terry Smith, Spike Powles, John Russell and Steve Richards are taking up the 24 hr 3 Peaks Challenge. Climbing Ben Nevis, Scaffell Pike and Snowden. Luckily, we have 2 good friends in Dave Kearsey and Martin Gunter who very gratefully offered to be our designated drivers, picking us up from Inverness Airport and then seeing that we get to each mountain by minibus. The journey will take us from Scotland, to the Lake District and on to North Wales, where we will be stopping the evening. We are training very hard presently, for this tough challenge.
We hope to Raise as much money as possible for this great cause. So please help if you can, we will all, very much appreciate it.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
