The Bars & Venues senior team are taking on a night like no other - spending the evening in an old children’s sanatorium. We will be sleeping rough on the floor in this very old and very haunted old Hospital. (what could possibly go wrong?) to raise money for a cause that truly matters.

As part of Stonegate Group, we are proud to support the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), a charity taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling rubbish, standing up to harmful stereotypes, and standing together to remind everyone that life is always worth living.

Right now, 125 lives are lost every week to suicide. It’s the leading cause of death for people aged 15–39, and for men under 50 in the UK. CALM exists to change this.

They do it by sparking important conversations, running life-saving support services, and bringing people together so no one feels they have to struggle alone. Their mission is simple but powerful: helping people reject living miserably, get the support they need, and keep going.

Our “Definitely NOT Haunted” night shift might bring a few scares - but it’s all in aid of making a real difference. Every donation helps CALM continue their vital work and support those who need it most.
