We are fundraising for Spurgeons Invisible Walls 10th Anniversary to refurbish the play area and replace toys and games.

Story

This year marks the 10 year anniversary of the Invisible Walls Family Support Service at HMP Winchester. In that time we have supported over 38,600 friends and families through the Visitors Centre, and over 8600 children. We have had approximately 1900 men imprisoned at HMP Winchester engage with our service.

A series of events have been planned from early September to raise awareness of the service and celebrate what has been achieved. We also want to raise funds to support the ongoing work we do at the prison.

Events will include 10 for 10 themed activities e.g. a sponsored gym event for the men, a week of offering breakfast/coffee to staff, staff 10k run etc..

Funds raised will be used to refurbish the play area in the visits hall and replace toys and games.

As we celebrate the success of the service and what has been achieved over the past 10 years, we also head into the final year of our Lottery grant funding.
