Our development projects are created and implemented in partnership with communities to enable them to build a better life and future for themselves. Story

Park View's Epic Virtual Walkathon Challenge!

From 1st July, Park View Care Centre is lacing up its walking shoes and taking on a truly exciting challenge — we’re virtually walking 874 miles from John o’ Groats to Land’s End! That’s a whopping 1,846,688 steps in total!

Staff, residents, families, and friends will all be stepping up together in this Walkathon adventure — whether it’s a stroll around the garden, laps in the lounge, or pacing the corridors, every step counts!

Why are we doing it? To raise £2,000 for the incredible work of The Salvation Army, supporting people facing homelessness, poverty, and crisis across the UK.

Get involved: Log your steps, cheer us on, or donate to support our journey from Scotland to Cornwall — every step takes us closer to our goal!

Because at Park View, we walk with purpose — and we walk together.
