Needless to say for those new to my charitable events having missed Darren's Dash and Darren's Dash Part Deux. I am now looking to complete Darren Dash the Duet in acknowledgement of a condition that affects my Wife and her wider family. Specifically for Louise it is the tissue within the aortic valve that is affected, which if not diagnosed and monitored can lead to fatal consequences as we unfortunately found out during the passing of my Father-in-law in 2012.

On 27th June I will be participating in a relay race over 24hours, my target is 15 loops of an 8k circuit totalling 120km (74.5 miles). It is a tag team effort through the night and I am hoping with everyone’s support I will be motivated to achieve my target. I could be tempted to do the extra 6.5k to complete a treble marathon distance if the money is right!!

I realise there will have been a lot of request for sponsorships recently as part of peoples attempts to cross the finishing line at the London Marathon but anything would be greatly received and will certainly help a lesser known charity do some amazing work.
