Story

I’m excited to announce that in June 2025, I’ll be participating in my third charity bike ride in memory of my Grandma, Aunty Jeni and Nana. This event has become a special tradition for me, allowing me to honour their memories while supporting a cause that’s incredibly important. This year, I’ll not only be riding, but I’ll also be helping others along the course, offering encouragement and support to fellow participants. It’s a way for me to give back and celebrate the love and strength my Grandma, Aunty Jeni and Nana showed throughout their lives.

The ride benefits St Barnabas Hospice, a charity that provides exceptional care and support for people facing life-limiting illnesses. Their dedicated team offers physical, emotional, and spiritual care to patients and their families, helping to improve the quality of life during difficult times. St Barnabas Hospice’s work extends beyond the hospice, with services in people’s homes and community-based support, ensuring that no one has to face these challenges alone. The charity also provides bereavement support, offering a compassionate hand to those who have lost loved ones.

By participating in this ride, I’m proud to raise funds and awareness for St Barnabas and all the incredible work they do. The care they provide is life-changing, and I’m honoured to be a part of supporting their mission. It’s always a fulfilling experience to take part in something so meaningful, and I look forward to continuing this tradition while keeping my Grandma, Aunty Jeni's and Nana’s memory alive.
