Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I'll get straight to the point. The fact is that everyone of you that take the time to read this message, either know someone or are in fact fighting cancer yourself and sadly the stats are increasing daily.

Personally i have family and friends that have fought and and are still fighting this killer!!

More recently we were all shocked to the core when we found out that our very own Jeremy was delivered the news that he had stage 4 cancer, i can honestly say i have never experienced the sadness and pain that this bought to Jed and his family. The sad truth is families receive this news HOURLY!! , not daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, HOURLY!!

There are no words to describe how proud we all are of Jed and his determination to beat this killer, to be here for his amazing family and more importantly his two beautiful boys and loving partner Kerry.

I literally have NO words!!

Jed along with so many others on the front line are experiencing first hand how much support my chosen charity Cancer Research UK needs our support and help to fund its research to save our loved ones lives and others all over the UK.

Here's how you can help me!! I am going to set myself challenges over the next 12 months, starting with a 2.5k open water swim at Edenbridge Castle in the castle race series on the 26th September this year, the conditions are set to be COLD!! i have also left it a little late to train for this event, open water swimming is not for the faint hearted and 1.5miles is a tough swim especial in Autumn weather conditions, i think the wind will be the toughest challenge!

The truth is none of my challenges will come anywhere close to the fight Jed and so many others face today.

So many of you have very kindly donated on Rachel and Kates GoFund page, your support Jeremy and Kerry have been overwhelmed by. Jeremy i know, also wants to raise awareness and would urge you to support this charity if you can!!

I am doing this to help Cancer Research Uk, i don't want any applause or pats on the back, i just want you to donate and help me help Cancer Research UK save lives.
