Earlier this year my beautiful cousin Paula sadly lost her fight with cancer. After 6 years of battling hard against it, this horrible disease eventually won out. At around the same time it also very suddenly took the life of my work colleague and friend Stephen.

So in honour of these two wonderful humans, I have taken on two challenges this year! The Yorkshire 3 Peaks and the Manchester Half Marathon! … having conquered the 3 Peaks challenge back in June - raising money for Pancreatic cancer, which is what took Stephen away from us - it’s now the turn of the Manchester Half Marathon in just 5 weeks time!! This time I’m hoping to raise as much as possible for The Christie Charity, as both Paula and Stephen spent time there for treatment and recovery, and couldn’t speak highly enough of the place … so as my training for the Half continues I’m now asking you all to dig a little into your pockets / piggy banks and spare a few quid to help me raise as much as I can…
