Story
Walk. Talk. Save Lives.
16 Days. 16 Miles. 16 Lives.
On April 6th to April 21st, I'm walking 16 miles a day for 16 days, to raise awareness and funds for Mind, supporting children's mental health.
Every day in the UK, 16 people die by suicide.
One every 90 minutes.
This is not a solo walk, it’s an invitation to the community to walk beside someone.
To start a conversation and create connection so nobody feels alone.
During these 16 days you can:
👉 Walk — everyone is welcome to join.
👉 Talk — if you need to share or listen.
👉 Donate — if you are able.
I am being sponsored by David Lloyd Southend and we have collaborated with Mind and Rayleigh CrossFit.
Every step taken and every pound raised will go towards supporting young people who are struggling.
The money will fund a year of support through Mind working in collaboration with Rayleigh CrossFit and their CrossFit Teens group creating self-belief in a positive, supportive environment; also signposting to further mental health support early.
The goal is simple but powerful:
To give children the tools, support and confidence to build a more positive future into adulthood.
